That said, I genuinely think the recently announced Speedball 2 might make a decent iOS game. I don’t understand why more Amiga games aren’t ported. After all — unlike console titles — they’re usually a one-button affair, so no need to keep realigning your finger positioning as you play (one of my major bugbears with FIFA).
Like Gods, Chuckrock and Canon Fodder, Speedball 2 has a simple UI and perfect for the casual gamer market. I’d love to see more Amiga and Atari ST games make it to the iOS platform, maybe someone could pick up a few of the licences on the cheap?
