Not every food gamble pays off…
I felt optimistic by the obvious quality of ingredients. Laying them out in buffet style for all to see means you’ve got to get decent stuff, you can’t get by on crap and gristle. So I made a couple of Peking duck pancakes so I had a marker dish and asked for some shreds of beef to be done with the hot chilli sauce.
What could possibly go wrong.
